We are pleased to announce that Resource Boxe is now leveraging our proven technology storytelling skills and expertise to serve clients in the fast growing AgeTech industry, which is shorthand for the intersection of technology and aging population needs. As a senior myself, with over three decades of creating and marketing complex technology products and services, I am thrilled at the opportunity to lead the Resource Boxe team into this exciting and dynamically changing new arena!

As the global population ages, there’s a growing demand for innovative solutions to address the challenges and enhance the quality of life for older adults. AgeTech encompasses a wide range of products and services designed to support aging individuals in various aspects of their lives, including healthcare, wellness, socialization, mobility, safety, and more.

There are approximately one billion people on earth over the age of 60, many are healthy and active with discretionary income. This population is growing faster than any other age group and 20% of the world’s population (2 billion people) will be over 60 in 2050. Americans over 50 are expected to spend over $200B annually on tech products by 2030.

According to AARP’s 2023 Report on Tech Trends, “Nearly eight in 10 respondents say technology has become an integral part of their life, used frequently to connect with loved ones. Older adults have an appetite for more tech, but many find it difficult to learn and navigate, 68% of those 50-plus do not believe today’s technology is designed with them in mind.”

These demographic trends offer huge opportunities for companies targeting the AgeTech sector, however there are also significant marketing challenges. AgeTech companies need to clearly communicate their key value messaging to diverse audiences, including investors, partners, journalists, and most importantly the seniors who will ultimately use their products and services. They also need to leverage appropriate digital marketing tools and platforms to get their stories in front of customers and stakeholders across multiple channels, such as email marketing, social media, website SEO, online advertising, customer stories, and more.

At its heart, technology storytelling always needs to transform complex detail into understandable messaging for diverse audiences.  With AgeTech, it is especially challenging to craft content that resonates across the needs of seniors, caregivers, healthcare providers, and other decision-makers in the purchasing chain. This is where the Resource Boxe team excels, with expert storytellers who have a passion for improving services to the aging community along with a full range of marketing tools and expertise to serve our clients’ business objectives.

The team’s background includes deep skills in digital marketing, plus decades of experience on the frontlines of dealing with trends and issues impacting our senior communities.

Also, with a variety of engagement options, we can deliver either full turnkey marketing services or one-off content creation and promotion projects. Essentially we can Do-It-For-You, Do-It-Together, or help you Do-It-Yourself.

Our philosophy of meeting clients “where they are” also enables the RBe team to align with the budgets and agility requirements for helping disruptive new AgeTech startups stake our their territory, all the way up to helping large established companies pivot to marketing their new AgeTech offerings.
