FallCall Detect offers smart fall detection to enhance safety for older adults aging in place

Many senior adults want to maintain their autonomy and independence in their own home, however caregivers and family members worry about their loved one’s safety and access to emergency medical services should they need them.

FallCall is the first of its kind in the personal emergency response system (PERS) market for fall detection. Recognizing that not every fall requires emergency medical attention, FallCall Detect’s innovative technology differentiates between falls occurring with greater force (more likely to cause injury) versus falls occurring from a sitting position.

When a high-impact fall is detected, FallCall’s US based medical monitoring service is contacted and will send emergency services. If a low-impact fall is detected, any of the user’s five pre-designated support community members is contacted via an app for Apple watch, iPhone, Android or Homepod.
